CONTACT IMPROVISATION RESIDENTIAL WORKSHOP
DANIELA SCHWARTZ – ECKHARD MÜLLER
29. – 31.05.15 @ La Moinerie, France.
La Moinerie is an old farm converted into a dance studio in the peaceful countryside of Haute Saone. A wonderful environment to meet and deepen into a dance practice.
OPENING GATES INTO THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF MOVEMENT
This workshop will focus on the permeability of the bodies in a physical dialogue.
The key for the work will lay on the action of taking time and giving attention to the receiving and the delivery of information to become conscious of the communication that is happening in each dance, in relationship to the environment, the group, a partner and yourself. Aiming to look for distinguishing the diffuse and the specific in the dialogue between noticing and praying attention, we will create a frame to bring to consciousness the choices we make and possibilities they determine.
We will provoke a deep state of listening; questioning the communication in the dance and focusing the attentional mode on the multiplicity we are in action.

Eckhard Müller (Germany/France) and Daniela Schwartz (Argentina/France)
For the recent past 10 years we have been traveling and collaborating all over Europe and the Americas, sharing our vision and practice of CI, offering CI workshops and developing projects based on CI and Improvisation. Invited to teach in the frame of Universities, Dance Programs of Theaters and Studios and Dance Festivals. By collaborating, our interests influence each other, creating diverse and surprising pathways. We share the passion for improvisation, the present moment and how bodies communicate through movement and touch.
Daniela’s interest in the details and the capacity of attention and Eckhard’s fascination with the limits of physicality plunge them together into the research of perception and sensation to rediscover an open movement dialogue through the body. Both are co-organizers of the contactfestival in Freiburg, Germany, www.contactfestival.de and members of Co. Dégadézo, Strasbourg, France, www.degadezo.com.
Ws fee: 190 euros before 29.04.15, after 230 euros.
